The expo of Artisan Chocolate returns to Florence – this time in a new setting, the central “Piazza della Repubblica”. From February 10 to 19, forty selected Italian and foreign chocolatiers show and sell their delicacies.

But this event is not only a simple market but the numerous side events during the 10 days of the expo make it alive and open to the public.

There will be futuristic drinks taken directly from Marinetti’s instructions, look at the presentations of mouthwatering books and the tastings of sweets from Florence like zuccotto (sponge cake with chocolate) or zuppa inglese (trifle).

Moreover, the expo coincides with the Carnival which is why also this year during the weekend February 11/12 and 18/19 the square will be disguised in all colors for the funniest feast of the year!
