Some of the rooftop terraces can be found in hotels, where bar or restaurant service is available for those who might enjoy a drink or meal while watching the sunset; or even those who simply want to stop by and snap a photo of a breathtaking panorama. In fact, following a successful run in 2010, A Roof with a View 2011 is once again holding a photography competition, open to everyone on Flickr . Send us your photos and the winner will receive a free two-night stay in Florence. Pick up a A Roof with a View brochure at one of the participating hotels or locales, or at one of two tourist information offices, located at Via Cavour 1R and inside the Vespucci Airport, and after getting your brochure stamped 3 times, confirming 3 visits to participating locales, return to one of the tourist information offices mentioned above to claim your free gift, a memento of Florence.
