A third edition for the Firenze Jazz Festival which has the Oltrarno district - the coolest neighbourhood of the world - as venue.

The most interesting aspect of the Firenze Jazz Festival is its "polycentric" formula, because it is spread over different public and private spaces such as squares, clubs and cocktail bars. The musicians who crowd them are international guests or local musicians. Florence - the Oltrarno District in particular-  will be able to offer great music during these four intense days.

The most exceptional stage is the raft on the Arno River, where a "solo" musician will perform at two different times, at 7pm and 9.30pm. We are expecting:  Fabio Morgera (trumpet); Jesper Bodilsen (bass), Dario Cecchini (baritone sax), Nico Gori (clarinet).

The main stage, in piazza del Carmine, will host various concerts by different artists every evening.
The Festival collaborates with the popular event Settembre in Piazza della Passera, with various shows and projects that are part of the festival program.
Other concert venues will be Sala Vanni, Santa Rosa Bistrot and the Circolo Rondinella del Torrino.
See the Firenze Jazz Festival website for the complete program.

All concerts are for free.
