A new service of 22 public toilets has been opened in piazza San Giovanni (in front of the Baptistery) by Opera di Santa Maria del Fiore. The center is called Centro Arte e Cultura.

Seven new public toilets are available in the square of Piazza Santa Maria Novella (Piazza Santa Maria Novella), open every day, holidays included, from 8.00 a.m. until 8.00 p.m., charge € 0,60 per person.
