From August until Octobe, Adriano Bimbi’s most representative sculptures will be on display in the squares of the towns of Barberino, Borgo, Dicomano, San Piero a Sieve, Vaglia and Vicchio. His smaller, more intimate works will be exhibited in historical buildings. The works will be on display at the Archaeological Museum of Dicomano, Cellini’s House in Vicchio, the Palazzo dei Vicari in Scarperia, the Municipal Library (Biblioteca Comunale) of Borgo, and the Palazzo Pretorio in Barberino. His highly poetical sculptures, such as Mannequin or Seba da Puzzocane, amante dei poeti, will be on display in the town squares. The exhibitions will be open until October. Thanks to this exhibition, entitled Art in the historic buildings and squares of Mugello, this district, which has always been a source of artistic inspiration for Bimbi and his students at the Figurative Arts Academy, is being given back the art it has inspired.
