On 8th and 9th October, the historic monumental park of Villa Caruso will be housing a wide selection of flowers, shrubs, fruit-bearing plants and, last but not least, the typical produce of cooperatives of farmers of the Florentine hills.

Starting with the remarkable works by the 17th-century artist Bartolomeo Bimbi, Botanica will be offering artistic and scientific conferences, an exhibition of plaster models of mushrooms from the Didactic Museum of the Istituto Tecnico Agrario (the Technical Institute of Agriculture) of Florence, the presentation of scientific publications, a display of antique reference books on herbs.
