Più Firenze (More Florence) is a special offer based on length of stay, more nights more rewards offered by the accommodation properties of your choice (among the partecipating ones), the restaurants and Florence Tourist Board.
Più Firenze is offered first and foremost as a special hospitality formula that rewards guests who decide to stay in Florence and the surrounding territory for more than one night. In fact, we are certain that everything we have to offer truly deserves an in-depth visit.
Our proposal regards the entire province of Florence and is valid for a full year, from 15th April 2010 to 15th April 2011. Particularly advantageous for parents with children, the initiative also rewards couples, friends, and small groups curious to see or perhaps to see again – we hope with new eyes – one of the most beautiful cities in the world and to discover the incredible territory that surrounds it.
What we propose to our guests are little surprises, special services, but also free admission to cultural events, tour facilitations, and naturally also substantial discounts on the cost of your stay. We want guests to feel welcome and – why not? – spoiled, with special attention to the children.

The more you stay, the more you’re rewarded
If you extend your holiday in Florence or in the province, you have already decided to give yourself a lovely gift, because it means you’ll have the chance to go out and discover a whole series of treasures (found not only in the more than 160 museums located in Florence and the surrounding territory) that it would be difficult to get to know with just a hurried visit to the main attractions Florence has to offer. We wish to further reward you with a series of facilitations, surprises, and free gifts directly proportional to your length of stay.

The participating accommodations and restaurants offer a series of free gifts (products, services) that are diversified according to your length of stay (based on a principal of graduality, i.e. the longer you stay, the more you’re rewarded) and to the characteristics of the individual facilities (location, any special agreements or proposals), so you will find hotels, B&Bs, or agritourism farms with very different offerings. For example, in addition to free admission to an exhibit or a museum, or a panoramic bus tour of the city, there are other proposals involving recreation (e.g. bicycles) or utility (train or local bus tickets, or free parking), and proposals aimed to win you over with the excellent food and wine products of the territory of Florence and Tuscany in general. You decide what best responds to your interests and your idea of a perfect holiday. In your room you’ll find a welcome kit provided by the Florence Tourism Board with updated informational material to help you organise your stay in the best way, along with a gift for the children.
Almost all the accommodation providers participating in Più Firenze give you the fourth night free of charge, and we would underscore that this implies a major effort on their part, certainly in the interest of those who can and wish to take advantage of it.

Più Firenze Più Gusto (More Florence, More Flavour)
Also at the restaurants, special attention is dedicated to those who have chosen Più Firenze. Presenting the voucher provided and stamped by the selected accommodation provider at one of the participating restaurants, for your first dinner you’ll receive a personalised chef’s apron, at the second a publication related to food and wine, and at the third dinner you will receive a 0.25 l bottle of the 2010 selection of the best extra-virgin olive oil from the province of Florence. And for the children, there’s the possibility to have simple menus at dinner (first course, second course, side dish, water) at the price of 10 euros, which they can eat (even though one shouldn’t, but we’re on holiday, right?) while perusing a lovely illustrated book that APT will provide to the restaurant.

How to sign up
The promotion is aimed at individual clients who book their stay by contacting the selected accommodation facility directly in the preferred way (by telephone, e-mail, at www.piufirenze.com, from the website of the facility), and making explicit reference to the Più Firenze promotion.
The price is that which is applied at the moment by the facility, normally published in the price section of the website, and in any case to be agreed upon explicitly with the facility.
The offer is valid for two persons in a double room with breakfast service, and one child up to 12 years old sleeps free in the room with the parents if the size of the room allows the additional bed. If there is another child under 12, and the room has the characteristics to accommodate him in the same room, the cost of the room for four persons becomes that of a triple room.

Notes
The offer is not cumulative with any other promotions offered by the facility, and is subject to availability. It may not be available on the occasion of important events and fairs, such as those of Pitti Immagine. In addition, the offer is suspended during the period of the Christmas holidays 2010-2011.
To take advantage of the Più Firenze benefits, it is necessary to book your stay in one of the participating accommodations in Florence and the province, giving explicit notification of your participation, and it is not extended to guests who find out about it after making the booking. The facility will issue a stamped voucher that will be used for accessing the other special offers related to the promotion.
