Playing soccer in Florence

Soccer courses for boys and girls from around the world in Florence, which gave birth to the game and hosts the Museum of Football. OSA Firenze is committed to teaching students soccer, and teaching them about Italy’s passion for the game.

OSA Firenze actively promotes Italian culture by offering students the possibility to add Italian language courses at the finest Florentine schools; in addition, optional excursion and field trips around Tuscany are organized, and students already in Italy can add OSA courses to their already existing academic schedule.
Combining soccer, language and culture allows young people to fully explore and appreciate what Florence has to offer: an unforgettable opportunity that gives students a life-time experience!
Courses are structured so that students can improve their technical and tactical skills and learn about the ethics of the sport - all while having fun. Basic and intensive courses are available for a minimum of a week to a full academic year, and are organised based on age, gender, and ability.
Training takes place at the state of the art Fiesole-Caldine facility and students are coached by premier league soccer professional Claudio Merlo, former Fiorentina team player and Italian National Team player, along with his team of expert instructors. All instructors have Physical Education degrees from U.E.F.A. or I.S.E.F., certifying their ability and professionalism. Welcome days and lectures are held at the famous Coverciano Technical Centre where the Italian National Team trains, and where the Museum of Football is located.
