There are currently more than 2.500 accommodation facilities in Florence and its province: 560 are hotels, mostly concentrated in the city, and as many are farm houses, while bed&breakfasts amount to 1.000. Self catering accommodation facilities amount to about 500, the remaining consisting of youth hostels, camping sites, historic houses etc.
