The Viper Theatre, a new multipurpose venue in the Florentine suburb of Le Piagge, has an interesting programme of concerts and other events.

Viper is almost 1,400m2 in size, and has been designed to host musical, theatrical and literary events, but also activities for young people such as preparatory and professional training courses.

Built by Florence City Council, the new space seats 232 (standing room for 575 people) and has a 140-slot car park.

Amongst the many initiatives that are sure to make the Viper a genuine social meeting place there is a course for aspiring DJs, Saturday club culture evenings and theatre courses.

The venue is also willing to host exhibitions, displays and installations by schools in the neighbourhood and throughout the urban area.
